Do you need to downsize your fabric stash? We can help!

At Just Quilt It, we pay CASH for your fabric and accept donations of fabric.

WHAT WE BUY:

We purchase quality cotton quilting fabric by the pound, currently paying $3 per pound. 

Please note: Fabric must be cotton quilting fabric that is at least ½ yard or larger and full width from selvage to selvage. 

Fabric must be clean, undamaged, and in like-new condition 

with no odors, stains, fading, or pet hair.

Limit 25 pounds per person, per month.

Please bring only one bag or box per appointment. We reserve the right to refuse any items that do not meet our specifications or current inventory needs.

DONATIONS:

Drop off Fabric!

We also accept donations of cotton quilting fabric, pre-cuts, scraps, quilt tops, quilting books, rulers, tools, portable sewing machines in working condition, etc. Additional sewing notions, books, and patterns are accepted on a case-by-case basis.

Fabric and items must meet the same condition requirements as purchased fabric. We reserve the right to refuse any item. 

Please limit your drop off to one bag or box per appointment.

Donations are NOT tax deductible. 

ITEMS WE DO NOT ACCEPT:

We cannot accept the following items:

items with pet hair, strong odor, stains, mildew, or holes.

We cannot accept non-cotton fabric such as home decorator fabric, upholstery, suede, fleece, felt, minky, wool, rayon, knits, homespun, or flannel.

We cannot accept clothing, curtains, bed sheets, batting, stuffing, 

yarn, or thread. 

HAVE A LARGE COLLECTION TO SELL?

If you have a large quantity of fabric, we can come to you! 

We are happy to visit and evaluate larger collections within the 

Montgomery/Macoupin County Illinois area.

WHAT HAPPENS AT THIS APPOINTMENT?

During your appointment we will sort and evaluate your items. 

The fabric that we choose to purchase will be weighed. 

We are currently paying $3 per pound for quality cotton quilting fabric. 

It's that simple!

Any items we do not purchase can either be taken back 

or can be left as a donation.

We believe in reducing waste and keeping textiles out of landfills. The fabrics and supplies we receive are curated and sold in our shop at affordable prices, helping to keep sewing and quilting accessible for everyone. 

Our mission is to promote the continuation of quilting and sewing while ensuring that usable textiles find a second life in beautiful creations.
